Moving to Boise I was sad to loose George, the Squirrel. But, I as able to find another George! I put up my bird feeder and there was George, quick to find food.

Well, He had easy way to get to the food because of the place I had put
the bird food.

So I moved the bird feeder to another place in the yard so George could not get to it.

Well one day as I was watching George running on the fence looking for
away to get to the food thinking he would not every find a way.

But to my surprise I found George doing this.

and leaving this behind
in the middle of the pole. This is the end of his tail. I sure do up the meal was worth it.

more of the zoo

This is the petting zoo. The children enjoyed playing and petting the zoo animals. We had a little red wagon from sears. One time on our visit, a goat jumped into the wagon and starting eating the wood on the wagon.
This is the biggest hill in the zoo. I was pg with Steven, very heavy and if I remember right, I was close to 8 months. We were part way up the hill when Amanda refused to walk the hill. Then she did her unforgettable scream of not getting her own way. I ended caring her up the hill and very pg with Steven.

Tonight will be my last movie night with Scott and Deb. Last Thursday was my last dinner night with Daine. Today they finished boxing up the house. It looks so funny not to have my things were they belong. Just think, there will not be Ellie who has been there for all my surgery's, and I will not be evolved in planning the trip to SL for genealogy anymore.

remembering more of the zoo

This is the swan pond with a nice waterfall in the back ground. It always has a black swan in it.
One day this black swan attached Amy's foot when she had it hanging over the edge of the bridge.
The Black Swan

This is where the polar bears live. I had gone to the zoo with Diane Lewis and her son Kendall. Steven was standing on the ledge with his face against the glass trying to see the Polar Bears. When one went swimming, That Bear went right up to the glass and pressed he noise to the glass also. Steven jumped so high and fell backwards.

Below is the aviary at the zoo. One time as we were walking a toucan was siting on the ledge of the walk way. It has only one foot and followed us all the way around the aviary.

The aviary has three entrances each one of them have black chains hanging down so the birds will not get got. (they also had doors). You would go through the doors which also had the black chains. Then there was another set of black chains. The Amy, Amanda and Steven would run back and forth with the chains. Laughing and having a great time. They would do this for hours.

Well, looking at this, it seems a long time sense I have added anything to this blog. I wonder how many people read it? Well, today I am feeling very blue. My friend Diane came over to get my guest bedroom set. It was sad to see it go. I have a lot I need to get gone before I move next week.

The month of April, I was in Ohio helping Amanda, my daughter, with her little ones while she took care of her new little daughter. For one week, Grant, my grandson, did not have school so to give Amanda a sometime to rest
. Grant, Dashall and I went to the zoo, a train museum, two trips to McDonald's for the play ground and to the Park. I had a great time taking and watching my grandchildren play. I do wish I could do this with them all the time. But I cannot, but, this brought back memories of taking my own children to the zoo here in Omaha.

Last Sunday evening, I took a trip to the Omaha Zoo. This will be my last trip
to this zoo for every and that also makes me sad. I
had wonderful times there with my children.

As I was walking the zoo, I found a lot to remember. I thought I would wright them down before I forgot them again. (1) The fish to the right, we would take old bread, popcorn, hot dog buns, hamburger buns or we would by popcorn to feed t
he fish. When Steven was little one of the kids but his baby bottle down on the bridge. It got kicked in the pond and the fish covered it with their bodies. The bottle never came back up.

While we are at work, the cat is here a lone and sometimes cold. When we get home, we turn on the heat and here comes the cat to get warm. This is just one of her favorite palace's to get warm.

Time to update

Here we are at Christmas time.

Getting ready for the holidays has been very busy and fun.

From October till the end of November I have been

taking class at work on how to manage myself and learn how

to fill out the new paper work. It was very good class and I learned a lot.

Several years ago I was in salt Lake City with Ella, Diane, and a few others doing genealogy. The hotle we stayed at at this tree that all of us fell in love with. It had a santa head with a red and white fur cloak. I took a dozen pictues of it in hopes that I would beable to do my tree one day that way.

I gave up after I relized that I could not make a santa head with a realy looking face, eyes, glass, beard and hat. I found a santa head this year and just had to buy it. Next year, I will get the cloak or cape to go with it.
